Custom Species Lists

This list includes species of the Puget Sound watershed classified as "species of concern" by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). Species were classified by the agency as threatened, endangered, sensitive, or candidate species. Species occurrence in the Puget Sound watershed was determined by cross referencing USGS distribution maps and WDFW range data.

This list was taken from Threatened and Endangered Wildlife, a State of Washington Annual Report from 2011. It includes all species considered as threatened, endangered, and sensitive within the boundaries of the Puget Sound Basin, as well as candidate species for the endangered species list within that region.
