Topics include challenges relating to scope, complexity and cost in large and complex systems. Attendees will also discuss strategies for communicating ecosystem science to decision makers.

The workshop is limited to invitees, but a multi-authored paper synthesizing results from discussion sessions will be submitted for publication. This will include a summary for managers, policymakers and the public. Information about the two-day event will also be made available on the Encyclopedia of Puget Sound.
